Cliché Dungeon was made in Unity for the Game Off 2022 Jam. The theme of the jam was "Cliché". So we made a game where everything was based on a cliché. For example, there is a little gun companion you can obtain named "son of a gun".

The game featured items that would have passive effects, such as "horsing around" which would dramatically raise your shooting rate, at the cost of completely randomizing the shooting direction. Another item was the "hot potato", which would make bullets explode on contact. Additionally, there were several different guns you could equip. The flamethrower in particular would lead to some very interesting interactions. (gif related)

As the main programmer, I worked on everything, from the dungeon generation algorithm, to the inventory system, to the guns and the enemies.
