Mother Dread is a survival horror game mixed with a jrpg. It draws heavily from classics such as Resident Evil, combined with a turn based combat system.

As lead and sole programmer, I did everything dealing with the engine. From importing models, to combat systems, to UI, theres nothing I didn't have my hands on.

The combat system is relatively simple, and it with me already having the experience of doing one much more complex, it was a simple affair doing it in Godot.

The most interesting aspect of this project was the fixed camera. Much like old PS1 titles, the game has fixed cameras with 2D backgrounds, in which the 3D characters move.
